On a cold afternoon in December, Mt Abriel‘s newest addition finally opened to the public. The yet-to-be-named bridge spans a 180’ gap and connects two halves of the Adaptive Lake Trail. Purpose built with adaptive mountain biking and accessibility in mind, this structure brings the users up into the forest, with a viewing platform at the halfway point for people to enjoy.
Built by NABS 2018 wood crew, this project was completed with the generous support of the Columbia Basin Trust and the support of our wood crew from WorkBC.
With special thanks to the NABS management team and the NABS Wood Crew, we invite you to come and ride this impressive bridge for yourself.
